I have worked as photographer in many capacities, from U.S. Army photographer in the Mojave Desert of California, to traveling in-home baby photographer in New Jersey. My varied background has allowed me to understand many of the applications of photography, but really I've only scratched the surface of the art and the science of this medium of expression.  Knowing this feeds my curiosity and enthusiasm! To each new project I bring what I've learned from the field, from the living rooms of peoples homes, from studios, from the streets.

Frequently I have come to the question, why do I take photographs?  The answer to this question is evolving but I found a start to it in the wall art of a small studio apartment in Montmarte, 17th Arrondissemont, Paris,  France. And so, thank you Ben:

‘L’essentiel est que je communique’   It is essential that I communicate.
