‘In the end, we are all just stories,’ a favorite quote that I have appropriated for my portraits; People are complex, multifaceted, and fascinating subjects. An essence captured in one frame may seemingly be contradicted on the next, but it is these juxtapositions of character that make compelling stories.
I’ve always been a people watcher and a storyteller and I am never bored when afforded the opportunity to ‘read’ stories offered by the energy and interactions (both covert and overt) between people paired, by choice or life’s chance.
